    Hello all

I see for N scale, recommendations seem to be 14 or 16 awg for the bus
But what is the max wire size the screw terminals of the Deek Robot motor shield can accomodate?

    Thanks

it would be easier to just search for the connector wire size maximum,

Not sure about the max wire size. I‘m using 2.54 mm pin headers to connect to the screw terminals (no squeezed copper).

Recommended bus wire size all depends on the maximum current expected (you can also use the booster max output current value), layout size/length of the bus run, and whether the bus is in a loop powered from both ends at the booster.

For a HCD or 4x8 layout, 20 ga wire is PLENTY for 2 or 3 amps, especially if the bus is in a loop, powered at both ends (24 foot circumference loop, powered at both ends: 2A --> 0.24V drop, or 1.74% of 14V supply).
