And a blast from the past.........

Since nobody mentioned a specific time frame, may I offer this shot of a quartet of GP40-2s on the point of hotshot freight 33, approaching Afton, OK on the Cherokee Sub en route Tulsa and points south. Summer 1980.

How about some of the most recent matches I've seen: (I see matched units outside the house quite frequently, actually)

Is a set of FP7's on the RJC Dinner Train considered cheating? :p

Those F units have a freight pilot. I guess a lot of them probably did, depending on how they were ordered.

Corman still uses them for freight occasionally.

Long time, Marshall, good to have you back!
Scenes like that are becoming very rare, even on MRL nowadays...

No doubt as to the heritage of those units. Very nice catch! How many SOO SD60's did Indiana RR buy?

I don't know my engines well enough to know if this qualifies as a match. (if it don't let me know I will do more home work)

I'm unsure how many they have. I am just now starting to learn more about them. I know that all the former SOO units have the red/white, while INRR's other power is solid red.

    Are those matched Dash-8's??
I cannot tell the rear unit, but it sure looks like a Dash-8 to me.. Those are fairly rare.

INRD bought 11 SOO SD60's. They are numbered 6004, 6006, 6007, 6009, 6010, 6011, 6012, 6013, 6016, 6017, 6018. All are in the white and red, with the SOO patched over and the INRD logo painted on.
