Smith, and was built for the Frisco & Missouri Pacific. Currently, Arkansas & Missouri uses this bridge, and interchange traffic is swapped for the Ft. Smith Railroad, operators of the former MP tracks in town. The river handles barge traffic as part of the McClelland-Kerr Navigation Channel between Catoosa, OK and the Mississippi River.
