For quite some time I have been playing around with the camera to get an animated gif, although I have seen animated gifs using a drawing program, I thought about making my own on camera, here's the results . 9 frames were taken at different rotations of the wheels keeping the loco still in one place.

That's a great concept Paul .. now try it allowing the loco to move across the trestle. That ought to look really cool! [IMG]

    (Oops! I misspelled trestle)

AHHHH! No, No NO!!! You are Killing Us with your most expert and delightful talent/gift/curse!

Not only do I wish I could take those pictures, but I wish I could also own a layout like that myself...with the pride that I built it Myself.

Paul, I really have to congradulate you. Some people will say that they are too old for all this computer junk, well, I think you are doing very well with it.

Now, not only can we see Badger Creek, we can watch Badger Creek. If I only had a Vacation...lets see, places on the sight seeing list: Hobby shops, Badger Creek, and every single layout that allows visitors. But why go when Paul here has created a perfect animation of his jewel.

Thanks for the Inspiration and the drool.

    BK

Fantastic Paul!!! I would also like to see you make it so that we can click on it to enlarge the image .. can you do that? (It might even make a nice screen saver ;) )

To click on it to enlarge it is possible to do but would take up far too much memory on my website, around 2 meg and I havn't a lot of space to spare. I had to reduce my original 18 frame animation gif to a postage stamp, just to post it.
