Here you see the trestle with the two foundations. I've made a pile of gypsum and scraped with a scalpel the stones. Wolfgang
I never considered applying and carving bridge foundations AFTER the bridge had been put in place. That's what's great about TB, different ideas from different people, learning never stops...:tb-cool:
No, the bridge isn't glued in place. I can still remove it. But this is a good way to get the foundations carved. Wolfgang
Now I've started to get some color to the rocks. I can still remove the trestle for coloring the rocks. Wolfgang
And four pics from today. At the start today: I removed the trestles and added wasches with umbra and sienna like I've read in an article from Paul Scoles in MRC. Then I added a wash with ink. Also I airbrushed the tunnel roof with black. I think I've finished it so far. I can fasten the trestles. Wolfgang
Slowly this project comes to an end. I've glued the trestles to the rails and added ballast and real earth. When the glue is hard I will add spikes. And with some Woodland and talus. Wolfgang
Now I think it's finished. I've spiked the rails at the trestle, every sixth tie. Now comes work with the inset piece which connects the two segments. Wolfgang
