    Hi All,

I am new to the forum so I hope this in the correct place. This a truck I have kit bashed for my new layout, I am hoping to represent part of saw mill on my layout but I am struggling to source Woodchip cars over here in the UK, I can get most stock but now one seems to have any. Any way I hope you like the truck:

Hey John, the truck looks great! Just need to get some good ole' Rocky Mountain grime on it! :D

Check out the following search for a list of places that "may" have the wood chip cars in stock. I've also seen some being sold on ebay as well. Hope this helps.

Wood chip car - Shop sales, stores prices at TheFind.com
    And this one:
Ho scale woodchip car at TheFind.com - search, discover and compare prices

My local LHS had some on the shelves a couple of weeks ago too, check out Caboose Hobbies Inc, Model trains, Model Railroaders, Toy Trains, Model Railroading, Garden Railways, Lionel, Bachmann, Modeling Supplies.

    Jhock,

The truck looks great. We'll need to get some Pacific Northwest mud splatter and rain gunge on it. LOL.

We have a logging group here on TrainBoard that you may want to visit, too. Please post this truck there:

    Welcome to TrainBoard!

    Thanks Guys,

managed to find a couple of Woodchip cars at a store here in the UK this afternoon and they where on sale! Given the size of my layout that should be all I need for the moment.

I will post the truck in the logging section, and I will see what I can do in terms on getting a bit dirty!

The Mack is a beauty!! I have a real soft spot for Macks, especially the CH 603's (your model) and the 613's :D

It makes a great logging truck!!

Thank you. If you look in the logging section I have done bit of weathering. I won't post the pictures here as I will be just be duplicating the threads.
