All, Will be headed to Bill, WY next weekend, for a short, 3 day escape from humanity! A friend and I will by staying at the Oak Tree Inn, in Bill. Right across from the railroads crew change yard! Maintenance facility maybe a mile south of where we're staying. Looking for a few ideas to see, in or near Douglas, WY. I know about the outdoor railroad museum. Been there once, well over 25 years ago though! Hoping for some decent photos or videos from around Bill, with whatever coal trains might be seen! Will be in Douglas/Bill mid afternoon on Friday. Heading home sometime Sunday. About a 3 1/2 hour drive, so not too bad! However, Friday is gonna SUCK! Have dialysis that day, but instead of my normal time, I'll be going in near opening at 6AM. But, I'll be done before Noon. Time to eat and get my stuff ready to go! Wouldnt mind a possible layout visit, or two, regardless of scale! If anyone in the area. And is willing to accept a couple of visitors for a short time. This is a back up plan, since my initial trip idea, to Durango was nixed! The dialysis center in Durango is NOT accepting visitors at this time. Anyway, any thoughts, comments suggestions welcome. Thanks!
