All, please be aware that if you use the new board OEM ESU LokSound Select Direct Micro (73100) DCC Sound decoders in an Athearn SD-70/SD-75, that you might fry the decoder. I did it twice. I'll tell you how to avoid that. At the front of the decoder, there is a very, very tiny black resistor that could touch the chassis or frame on the right side if the frames are squeezed together too tight. Either use Kapton tape or grind down the front right inside nub of the pickup area. You can tell that this is happening because if you get a screeching sound out of the decoder once you put it on the test or programming track, IMMEDIATELY take it off and check to see if that front right nub is touching that little resistor.
