I am modeling Locotrol equipment on older BNSF units. I believe there is two different versions of Locotrol equipment, a Transmitter type, and Receiver type. Any diagrams or photos that show the layout on the roof of this equipment. Thanks

Yes, I am referring to ex-Santa Fe units. GP50's, SD40-2's, etc.

Best source of info I can think of would be the book series "The Santa Fe Diesel" by Dr. Cinthia Priest. Lots of roof shots of various units. Volume 2 would have all the contemporary stuff that would have been equipped with Locotrol. I still need to get this book for my collection, it's that nice. I mainly model Espee though, and have never really noticed any differences in the antenna arrangements on their Master or Remote SD40T-2's or GP40X's; of course, ATSF might have been different...
