So, for this quiz, I am going to deviate from the norm and present a question that solely asks about a railroad.
I pulled this question directly from an old Trains Magazine quiz (but I won't tell you which)...

"Baby Railroad" is what Fortune called the _________________ in 1938 when in a single article the management magazine gave the line immortality.
What railroad is this? (To stick to the quiz theme and as a bonus, what kind of locomotive is pictured?)

That's the Unadilla Valley Railroad, in upstate NY, Engine No. 7, a 4-4-0 American.
    :)

Well, that went significantly faster than I had wanted it to, but Fitz, you are correct!

Yeoww. I didn't even get a chance. We'll need to call him "Lightnin' Jim" from now on...

LegomanBill, Off Topic, but are you anywhere near that terrible fire that has destroyed 360 homes and the aerial tramway at the Royal Gorge?
    :(

Thankfully, I am much further north (in the outer suburbs of Denver). Thank you for being concerned though.

In relation to that I believe that D&RGW K-37 499, on display at Royal Gorge Park didn't fair too well...

I've also heard that NG Caboose 0584 was lost.
Hope those in, or near the fire areas are safe and sound!!

Yes the caboose is completely gone, but the locomotive wasn't damaged too badly.
