    If you want the FA 1s the Nos Are -

    76000 to 76000 C.N. Units 9400 Series.

    70004 to 70007 C.P. Units 4000 to 4400

    C.N. Units Are A Units only.

    C.P. Units Are A & B Units only.

    I've been to Life-Like's web site and there is NO mention of any NEW FA1's in N-scale. [​IMG] I'm sure what you are seeing is Old FA1's that are custom painted and I'd bet they don't have a new drive in them. [​IMG] However, the rumor mill says this is going to happen soon with all of LL's past releases, [​IMG] but not yet... [​IMG]

    One of our hobby shops here in Sydney has had a pre-release reservation notice up on their board for the last 3+ months announcing the FA-1A/B by Life-Like. It states the release as November 2000.
    Maybe they are re-doing it with a new-style mechanism afterall?
    I guess we'll have to wait and see on this one!

    Aww gee Brent, those couldn't be the old units with new or custom paint jobs cause LL hasn't done them yet.The first ones they did were FA-2s.The new ones are FA-1s.But at least there will be another Alco on thge market. [​IMG]
