In the past I went to Trains.com for some entertainment and information. That and many others were lost when windows 10 took over. It is advertised in the June copy of Model Railroader on page 6 and I got connected with another ID. I'm interested in seeing the layouts in the ad. The one shown looks interesting and would fit in my spare bedroom. But how do I get to that connection? What are the connection requirements?
The connection has long been there, but you must have a digital subscription to actually read the magazines. Any Kalmbach subscription (paper or digital) allows access to all of their magazine websites for news and such, but you can't read a magazine on line without a digital subscription to a specific magazine. Sadly, our public library once had a nice selection of magazines until five years ago when they decided to be hip and do away with them in favor of Flipster, which allegedly has them on line. Right. I've tried to gain access to them, but with multiple sign-ons, molasses-like response times and personal discomfort with reading anything of length on line, I ran out of patience and gave up.
