I have it but I can only run it on my laptop as it won't run on WinXp 64. They say they are looking into creating an update for it so that it will but since it has come out, there hasn't been a change.
I haven't ran it yet cause I typically only use my laptop for non gaming purposes but I supposed I am gonna have to give it a shot. :tb-biggrin:

    Couple of points -

    1) Kuju is the group who made the original Microsoft Train Simulator.

    2) They have shown a poor propensity to promise a lot and not deliver. They promised a US release of KRS over a year and a half ago. It's only just now hitting the shelves.

    3) The program is designed for Windows XP and DirectX 9 and not designed to fully utilize SLI or mutli-core processors. Thus, it's not "cutting edge" but rather "last generation" and refuses to run on most VISTA platforms with any acceptable performance from the reports I've read.

My suggestion - wait for MSTS2.

To me, train simulators are lots of fun, but I'd rather be working on my layout.

Besides, I don't need something else that keeps me at the computer...

In my personal opinion, I had the same problem with MSTS1.

Nothing runs well on Vista unless you have the horsepower to handle Vista first.

I'm intrigued by this. I picked up MSFTTS a month or 2 ago for $10, but I was disappointed at the complexity of the adding things and the fact that much of what I wanted cost additional fees. Hopefully this has more routes included.
