Well, that's what Kato is calling it - "PRR #4872 Congressional Silver" http://www.katousa.com/Zcart/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=1277 Cheers, -Mark
So, I wasn't missing anything. Other vendors do with and without DCC versions. They just call it Kobo, but sometimes, there IS something special, so it pays to read the descriptions.
Yeah, your link correctly points to the "Congressional" (Silver with Red accents). But your earlier post, in which you mention "Congressional", you uploaded a pic of the Brunswick Green GG1, not the Congressional. That's what I was questioning.
Ah, OK. That picture was just to show that at least one version (apart from the Congressional) did have some custom detailing. Cheers, -Mark
Not the custom painted Kobo stuff. There aren't enough hours in the day to do everything. Enjoy! Kelley. www.dufordmodelworks.com
Thanks! I actually don't do much of any painting anymore in any scale although I've dabbled in N and O scales also. No time and all that anymore. Kelley. www.dufordmodelworks.com
Dismantling steamers is easy. Things start to get challenging when it comes time to put them back into running condition.
You live in Big Bear. For whatever reason, the granola gremlins seem to delight in inflicting lousy telecom/data connections to the outside world on anybody who dares to live above the hoi-poloi of SoCal. In short, it's payback for getting to live in one of the most beautiful areas adjacent to a huge vibrant megalopilis.
