Kenora, a small city that is the seat of the kenora unorgainzed district, in NW Ontario, CPs double track main line, with a large yard, and an esquisite 1889 station, crew change point, and Beautiful Lake of the Woods. Large cuts through the Canadian sheild, with grades of 2% it is one of the least photographed portions of the Cp main.

It is where the keewatin sub ends. Kenora's name comes from the 3 original towns keewatin (part of keewatin is still independent), Norman, and Rat Portage, the site of one of 3 golden spikes and a long logging history, Kenora was home to many mills 2 of which remain, also home to Lake of the Woods Milling Co. (Mill burned down in 1969) which produced flower, one of their mills is still in operation, now under new ownership, in Medicne Hat Alberta, the milling co. Was the owner of Five Roses Flour.

The size of that depot looks like it once housed a dispatchers office, division headquarters or something important.

This is the museum (sorry for the cabbose I tried several ways to fix it, but whichever way I flipped it it would end up upside down) the museum also houses a large model railroad complete with a scale model of the Kenora station.
