Well, I guess funnelfans right! I added a Digi-Key white LED into one of my C44's and it had a little bit of a blue tint in it but it wasn't bad. I put a very thin coat of yellow over it and sure enough, it worked!!!! It's almost all white!! Thanks for the info Alan (and funnelfan!!) ------------------ Craig Martyn BLMA(best looking models around) Custom painting and detailing
Just thought I'd share a link. This site gives what I consider a very good circuit for putting white LED's in your locos. http://www.pollensoftware.com/railroad/index.html It should also answer some questions posted here about white LED's. BTW like the idea of dipping in yellow paint for colour correction. I'm going to give it a try. A VERY THIN coat of diluted yellow is all that is needed, or you will put the light out ------------------ Alan The perfect combination - BNSF and N Scale! www.ac-models.com Andersley Western Railroad Alan's American Gallery Alan's European Gallery Alan's British Steam Gallery
