    Howdy Folks,
    I am looking for a resource to install Digitrax / compatible encoders in 5 to 7 new KATO Heavy Mike's.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Powersteamguy1790 posted a tutorial on Mikado decoder installation on this forum some time ago. A search using his member name may find it.

    If a search doesn't find it, you could try a PM to Powersteamguy1790.

    Yourself?

    Are you looking for someone to install or doing yourself? Or just the place to get the products?
    Also are you looking to have sound or just have DCC motor and light control?

    I had not considered sound, But if that is an option I would welcome it for sure.
    I am looking for someone to do the installation.

    Yes you can get a sound decoder into these.
    Tsunami is the way to go.

    You can install a sound decoder in the Kato Mikado, My tutorial for this installation can be found in the July-August 2007 issue of N Scale Magazine.

    In this tutorial I used a ESU Lok-Sound decoder for the installation. The decoder and speaker are placed in the tender,

    If you follow the tutorial (Plenty of step by step photo's) carefully this installation is easy.
