Well I think i have it made, I only need one SF one for my BN layout, being set in summer of 95 before the evil merger changed things. I remember seeing one around then so it works out perfect for me! Kevin
How many is too many? I am lucky I have 605,and 650 from the first release and picked up one in H2 used on consignment. Whoever painted it did a nice job. I know the prototype has a ton of these and I would love a ton also but it sure cost a lot. I have a total fleet of about 20-25 units (C30-7, SD45, SD40-2 etc...) I will probably order one or two. I seem to always throw more money into power and not enough into the rest of the layout. Has Kato ever offered there locos with decoders installed?
hmmmmm.....never enough power for me.i ordered 8 3 of each h2 and 1 of each warbonnet.that should bring my total to 106 units. ------------------ ed pinkley home of the pinkley taurus
I've got mine on order too. Every time I pick up a Dash-9 I tell myself 'OK, the fleet is complete....I gotta start my layout now.' So, I've got plenty of power and nowhere to put it yet... bmalone: When they are released, they will be everywhere. Some places will be higher priced than others, but they will be out there. You can watch ebay as well. Of course, the availability will dwindle a couple months after release. ------------------ Mark Weiher Trainboard Member #60 Frequent Visitor to The Loop ATSF/BNSF Fan & Modeller
