Hi! I'm new to model railroads and designing my first layout. I live in a country where model railroads are not very popular and even less if we are talking about N gauge. So the best way to procure track is by ordering online. I am going to go exclusively with Kato Unitrack because I already have some pieces and I do not want to get into any unexpected compatibility issues. I designed my layout using SCARM and I got my part list but since most track pieces are bought in sets, I am trying to figure out what each set contains exactly. e.g. S248 come in sets of 4 in 20-000. The ones that I'm still in doubt are the 481 turnouts (as the subject mentions: 20-220 and 20-221). I've been googling for hours and I think I've got it: Kato 20-220 contents: 1 x Turnout (EP481-15L) 1 x S60L (60mm straigth with chamfered roadbed) 1 x S60R (idem, but mirrored) 2 x S64 (64mm straight) 1 x R481-15 (curve) Kato 20-221 contents: All the same except the turnout is to the right (EP481-15R) Can anyone please confirm it? Thanks in advance.
Some time ago I wondered about the same thing and you are correct. I copied this from the back of my 20-220 package:
