That is a really spectacular set of shots. I've only seen those places from trackside, your persepctive changes everything. Please post more.We really really do not mind.
Very cool shots Don! Thanks I too have only seen those places from trackside. I really liked the shots from behind Union Station.
My girlfriend and I looked at some lofts in the Western Auto building....then went somewhere else!$$$$$$$$$$$$$ These photos are great. I only see the flyover from the bottom!LOL! To the right of the bridge in the Sante Fe Juncton pics is one of my fave places to "foam"!
Hi Don Great shots!!! I like Kansas City very much! I have bin there last year, but I also had problems wit the Security and also the BNSF Poice was visiting my Photo and Video spot!!! Its hard to be an US -Railfan!!
Interesting perspective. That sky looks somewhat moody. Which to me, adds to the pictures. Question- Who owns the KCT? Is it an independent operation? Subsidiary of several companies? Or? Boxcab E50
Hello Eugen. Don't worry too much about the BNSF Police, just stay on public property. [ October 30, 2005, 10:25 AM: Message edited by: Don Rickle ]
Just last month I stayed a couple of days at the Westin, across from Union Station. That's a busy rail line; looked like mostly stack trains. Is this a major east/west line?
LOVE KANSAS CITY!!!! Love the pictures!! Been to KC several times via Amtrak and have been to some of those stretches. Great thing about KC, you can ride to Union Station stay a few days with plenty to do and it won't cost you an "arm-and-a-leg"
