Got back into modal railways after a long time away and with all the spare time on my hands after retirement and lockdown seemed like a great idea. its been a big learning curve as i wanted to add some automation into the layout. i had learnt so coding in python on the rasberry pi to make a aquarium controller. then i decided to make the layout. i found dcc++ and Jmri and loved it but quickly ran out of throttles and after posting on the Jmri forum was pointed in the dcc++ ex route and boy am i please i asked the question on there. looking forward to learning more and hopefully can help other along the way. regards john
