    Oh the stories a freind of mine could tell........About doing things like that!! Only without the major mishaps!! And getting away with it!

    Of course this was WAY back in the early/mid 1950's!! So, things have changed, just slightly, since then!

    last time I posted to the engineer class group, I mentioned I had 2 near misses at the same location, this time I just come of a service from East Hills, and had a near miss on the way out between International Airport and Wolli Creek. The stupid thing is both those locations are underground!!!

    Speaking of grade crossing incident, SRT has a fair share of it, on top of that, we have problem of "unauthorized crossing". It'll go like this:
    a community needs access trail to road but, railway is in the way. So they pave over the rail without notifying SRT for crossing protection setup. In my opinon, this will give engineers and firemen the creeps. :eek: [​IMG]
