We are back from another weekend and the last weekend of July. How did you all do?

Saturday: Was day two of the Saint Louis RPM meet and what a great day. After a good night's rest, I was able to enjoy the show a lot more. I had a good time looking at all the cool models on display, talking with the factory reps and attending clinics, which made the day go by real fast. The City Job ran great and it was nice to meet up with fellow modelers to talk trains.

Sunday: First order of the day was to visit my favorite hardware store, something I missed greatly while in NH. I picked up two sheets of 1/8-inch thick, 2X4 hardboard paneling to be used as my sky board back drop on the B&M layout. Back home to finish up the domestic chores then it was back in the garage where I worked on the three support brackets and trimmed down my sky board. I ran out of time to mount everything but that might be a project for this week.

So how about you? What did you get accomplished this weekend? Let us know. We'll assemble again on Friday, August 2nd to start the process all over again. Until then, have a great week, stay safe and as always...

Greetings and Happy Monday. Got much of what I wanted done. Did a little work on the C&O signal tower (not much), but I did finish painting the double truss bridge as well as the center support tower. Also before painting, I spent quite a bit of time with some final gussets and decaling on rivets.

Also put 5 cars into service, some of them are below. Have a great week.

I had a pretty good weekend. Didn't accomplish a whole lot MRR wise:

Saturday: - I found the missing/misplaced detail parts I spent both days last weekend looking for. What relief -- I knew I had them --
A couple of friends and I went to the Lyon's air museum -- they have a great collection of old warbirds and vehicles.

Sunday: Started on the fuel tanks for my new project -- that's it.
After grocery shopping, I mowed the backyard -- just in time for a family get together -- man, was that a good time.

Hope Y'all had a great weekend!!

Built some more structures for my layout, they just need LEDs and maybe some light weathering.

Also added details and dcc to my HO kiha 82 cab cars. I'm not super impressed with the digitrax function decoders and probably won't use them again. I'm happy with how it final results, even if it took a lot more work than I was expecting.

Nothing this weekend. Mostly digging through the railroadiana accumulation, and updating my web site. Plus downloading some Old Time Radio shows...
