Well I think I ordered all the correct parts to now wire my second base for DCC, with wired rail joiners, and for 3 new #6 switches for and my 3 Position (ON)-Off-(ON) Round Rocker Switch Momentary AC for controlling the turn outs ( switches ). I'll have to revisit my video on wiring the rocker switches as a reminder how to do it properly. I hope to be able to get to, connecting base B, with base A, with junction boxes, and wiring cables I bought. I have to remove everything from each base to accomplish this. Why I don't glue anything down as they might need to be stored at some point. Or at least base B, anyway. Also, bought two packs of the N Scale Just Plug Wooden Street poles to add. We will see! Plus drill locations for said rocket switches, and wire up. After typing all this, I might have bitten off more then I can chew in a weekend?

I'll report back on Monday if I was successful with any of this. Depends on possible other chores too!

On Wednesday we returned from a week at the mother-in-law's house doing maintenance and eating too much. Thursday was some grocery shopping and getting organized. Today I started on my weekend plans. My oldest computer, 11 years, has become unstable and needs attention. Spent a good portion of today working on it. There was still time for a long FaceTime chat with my daughter and to see my niece's children in a school play. The computer has just kicked off the "Reset" process. Wish me luck.

Saturday: Start the day listening in to Lowell Smith's latest announcements. Then watch a soccer match with my wife and son. Probably grab some lunch after that. One of our favorite local diners is closing May 1 and we might have to drop in for biscuits and chorizo gravy. Maybe some bacon. Who knows? At some point I will check in on the computer's progress and react accordingly. Plans are to retire this unit from online activities and limit it to offline hobby support like drawings, etc.

Sunday: Depends on how the computer is doing. If I can get it running reliably, I will reload needed apps, etc. I would like to pick up a few supplies to get back on the laser engraver project. Need to configure an air assist, build an enclosure with exhaust and provide a flat grid for material support. That was supposed to be the weekend objective, but the computer had other ideas.

    Stay safe,
