Welcome back to the weekend everyone! Something exciting happens this weekend. February becomes March! One step closer to spending a bit more time outside and for me, train show season.

Saturday: This will be my first Saturday at the big dealership and from what I have been told, it gets busy! That said, Jared is coming home to visit over the weekend so I don't believe I'll be getting much done on Saturday.

Sunday: With the weather predicting temps in the mid 50's, I fully intend to get the CTC panel/caddy I built, sanded and stained. I'm also hopping I can get the mounting bolts and system designed and mounted to the module shadow box. There may even be a chance of firing up the charcoal grill again.

So how about you? What do you have planned for the weekend? Let us know. We'll assemble again on Monday, March 2nd to see how we all did. Until then, have a great weekend, be safe and as always...

    Let's see...

Saturday: In the AM - heading to my friend's house for an OPS session on his NYO&W layout -- all ways a blast.
Afternoon -- we'll see. Perhaps lawn care. It needs it.

Sunday: Get back to work on the DL&W E8's and --- ??

    Y'all have a great weekend,
    Wolf

Happy Friday all. Tonight the Mrs and I are going out to chill on Friday night, so nothing will happen w/ the trains this evening.

Will spend some time focused on piers and abutments for the deck bridge I have built. I have it stored away in my work shop with weights keeping it flat until I am ready to paint/install track/put on layout.

I want to start working on a plan for my layout. I am going to need that for a signalling system that I will have built. Kind of funny, I do plans for a living a so when I am not working, the last thing I want to do is start drawing plans. I may sketch it up on paper and have someone knock it out for me.

Also plan on doing some building work and scenery tasks on the layout. It all starts about 7:00AM with a cup of coffee wandering around the layout room to zero in on something specific, but that's what's happening on the Albemarle Division this weekend.

This is going to be one of those I just hope I can find time for trains weekends.

Friday night, helping the wife move all our bedroom furniture except the bed in preparation foe her new bedroom suit that is being delivered Saturday.

Saturday will be up early to take the bed down and move it, then get my son to his Science Olympiad competition at 8:30am. He thinks he will be done by 12:30 but could be as late as 3:30. If he's done early, we are going to try and get to the ANA national Money Show that runs until 4PM her Saturday. Saturday evening will be helping the wife arrange everything after her furniture delivery.

Sunday we are having guest over for a cookout. The wife's birthday was last weekend and we just had a low key day for her so this will be more of a celebration for her. If I'm lucky and she doesn't have to much stuff for me to do to prep, I may make it to the layout for and hour or two. If I do, will be more scenery work.

Hope you all have a great weekend!!!!!!

Bought some glue yesterday. Maybe I'll try and put something together without making a mess of things. Last Friday I joined a club in Quincy, IL. Op sessions are Friday nights so I'm looking forward to tonight. Sat. and Sun. I plan to spend time on these keyboards learning CorelDraw. Wish me luck.
    Enjoy the weekend!

i've started building one of those laser cut MDF hobby tool organizer kits. It would probably go fatser if I had more rubber bands to keep it together as the glue sets, but if I get it done it will be a major accomplishment.

I keep checking the orange big box store for foam for the subroadbed, but so far the purported online inventory doesn't match reality on the shelf. And I put my foot through the floor of my lumber hauling utility trailer last weekend, so that needs rehab regardless.

Ahh yes. Many were the Friday's I'd come home with 10oz of new glue and 10 gallons of dreams. Always a great purchase.

Nothing too epic. Continue organizing my collection and putting in bins so that things are better protected. I have a couple box cars that need weathering so maybe I will look into working on them.

I will try to finish the Walther's arched truss bridge for the Arkansas River Bridge project. The bridge is about half way done with only the cross braces left to do for the Boston Mountains Sub Division layout.
