Good morning, everyone and welcome to the gateway to the weekend. I hope you all had a great week, now let's see what our plans are for the Weekend.

Saturday: I'm here in Denver for the Rocky Mountain Train show so if any Trainboard members are at the show, please stop by the Athearn booth and say "hi".

Sunday: After the show, we'll pack up and take it easy and my weekend will be over.

So how about you? What do you plan to do over the first weekend of April? Let us know. We'll assemble again on Monday the 4th to see how we all did. Until then, have a great weekend, be safe, stay healthy and as always...

    High Greens!

No plans. Step-Daughter #2 is *finally* going home. She came just before Christmas and took grandson #1's room bumping him to the living room, (where the layout is).
Starting Tuesday I *should*be able to get a lot more done on the layout.
Maybe she will paint bison, long horns or moose for me.

    Finally a Friday - Y'all!!
    What a week

So, I have the fixins to build a couple of SP style train order boards - I hope to get to. As well as 6 Mack tractors to build and paint for Pacific Motor Trucking.

Will be another another -- we'll see kind of weekend.

    Y'all have a fantastic weekend,
    Wolf

Well, not much time for modeling this weekend, going to do my sister-in-laws tax return today, followed by bowling tonight, then I am working at the City Open Bowling championship on Saturday and Sunday, if I have some time I may get a PC&F 57' Reefer painted.

Hope to wire up the four Kato Unitrack switches in my yard and maybe connect a feeder to another block too.

Ready for the weekend! Hopefully it can start an hour or two early today. Going to run by the bookstore after work and pick up the latest TRP and MRN issues. Then continue cleaning up the old jewel cases I found. Saturday, I am planning on painting some trim parts for the display shelf I built to go under one end of the layout If that goes well, I may start building an identical one for the other end. Sunday will be finishing up whatever I didn't get done Saturday on those. Also hope to get back to work on the pump jack scene on the layout.

Non train wise, have a picket on the fence in the back yard that I need to replace. Going to replace all 4 of the smoke detectors in the house. Easier task than it sounds. Also planning on cooking on the grill if I can find something good at the store.

Here's hoping you all have a great weekend!!!!!

Going to continue work on the same section of the layout I was working on last weekend, getting some scenery done along the river under the bridge locations so the bridges can be installed. Start the segmented concrete trestle and paint / finish tunnel portals that I showed last weekend.

That should keep me busy this weekend.

What ever Mrs Moose lets Moose do...
    :cautious:

Friday: Started redesigning the elevated town this past week to enlarge it, so Moose hopes to start building a new removable base for it today. Need to find some foamboard, preferably with a plastic siding, to serve as the top of its base.

Saturday: Mock up where buildings, streets, sidewalks should go, along with an access road to the railway yard and ... ... wait for it .... ... a brewery! The access road and the squeezing in of a plausible brewery have been giving Moose fits all week, so hopefully physically laying things out will reveal a solution. Hooves crossed!

Sunday: Continue the above madness...

Oh, and maybe some time during the weekend buy a gas barbecue - the weather is starting to turn nice!

Mile High City, cool! Projects galore. Chore weekend for me. But, I have fifty percent of the hopper end sheets installed. :) Since it is very cool here with sun and rain coming, I should get more done in the next week or two. Then, we will see. (y) Have a great weekend all. :D

    This weekend will be interesting.

Currently I am recovering from surgery I had on Wednesday so not too much going to get done . I will be returning to work Saturday night so I plan on taking a few locos that need decals with me to work on in the hotel.

Yesterday was a shopping spree as I plan on new modules. I am in need of #5 RH code 55 switches and seems everyone is out of stock. Hope to find some soon.

Finish dismantling my last two old T-Trak modules. Continue decal work on my HOn30. Dig out some photos and slides for a historical group's request. And?

Greetings. Late to the party today. Been a (pleasantly) busy Friday.

This weekend I plan on changing gears and working on a building, the South River Modelworks "HM Meyers". I have it about 90% done and it needs some love to finish up. That last 10% sometimes seems to take the longest. This building sits on the "peninsula" in the center of the layout room. The center portion will house the craftsman building kits I have. I am anxious to get this one done and get started on the next. I need to start filling that area in.

Also, I plan on painting some handrails for the engines I worked on several weekends ago.

    Happy Friday!

Been at my mother-in-law's house for the past 9 days. Spent this morning doing some organizing of my late father-in-law's workshop. (After two and a half years it should be further along than it is!) Being here puts me one hour away from...

Saturday: The Lewis County Model Railroad Train Show and Swap Meet! And that is where I plan to go on Saturday morning. I will watch a soccer match with my wife early in the morning before heading to Chehalis. I have never been to this show and am eager to see it. My last show was Monroe 2020. Lewis County was the first of many events I planned to attend but missed due to pandemic restrictions. Hopefully it will be the first of many I get to attend going forward. After the show I will be back here for dinner at 2 Margaritas. Reads like a good day to me.

    Sunday: No model related plans.

See you on the other side.

    Stay safe,

Friday was yesterday out here. Had the day off so I spent it ballasting track on my switching layout. Added LEDs to a couple of buildings and tore apart the silos for both the grain elevator and cement company to repaint. But I ran out of paint.

Saturday (today): make sure the ballast is dry. Buy more paint. Repaint and Reassemble and Weather the structures and install lighting in the grain elevator.

Sunday: Finish up the above if not finished. If done, add rust to a few intermodal containers and/or install lights in the freight house and engine shed.

Maybe I'll paint 3 of my GP9 Torpedo Tube locos (for my Southern Rwy excursion train) black Saturday and decal them Sunday.

    Hmm... then again, may-
    be not...

We have Easter decorations to put up. If the weather turns out nice we have some plants to plant and some other gardening.

I want to continue adding rail joiner feeders and attach them to bus lines. I have to work on some track alignment and adding roadbed in some areas before I can add the feeders.
