When I say the title out loud, I feel like Andy Williams as he starts off one of his famous Christmas TV Specials. With that said, we are at the start of a very special weekend, so lets release the brakes and notch up! With any luck, we should be leaving work early today. With that said, I can prepare for the final round of Christmas. The display I've been working on is finally finished. It was wrapped up Wednesday night with the last bits finished and this years Christmas Train successfully performing circuits around the tree. Saturday: The day starts off early as I make the last run on Christmas shopping. This will be followed by breakfast then an afternoon of wrapping said gifts. Saturday here will be a bit busy so my modeling will probably be limited to the Christmas Train. Sunday: A day we all will relax, save for getting some last little cleaning bits done. We usually relax watching movies before the big day. If I'm lucky, I may try to operate a train on the City Job. CHRISTMAS DAY: A special day. This year it will just be Angela, Jared, Lucy and I. My daughter and her boyfriend are spending time with his family so we plan to celebrate Christmas Part Two with them next week. Of course, this time of year is always bittersweet for me as I really miss my family and home state of New Hampshire, but it is still special. For me the time we spend with our family and friends is the best gift of all, and this becomes ever more so evident as time goes on. We remember those Christmas celebrations of years past and remember family and friends who are no longer with us and enjoy the new additions as well. I really don't expect any of us to get any real model railroading done, it is after all a time of celebration of family and joyous time of year. We will check in however on Tuesday the 26th to maybe see if Santa got us any new fun things for our miniature pikes. Until then, from our family of Angela, Jared, Lucy, Jessica and myself, we wish you all a... Very MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
First --- MERRY CHRISTMAS to Y'all and Y'all's families!! I don't know what, if anything, I'll get done this weekend. I'm off work today - however, I think I have a honeydo list. And, that's OK. We have a ton of family coming over on Sunday. Must get ready for that. So, hope Y'all have a great and merry weekend, Wolf
Seasons Greetings to everyone! I will be making trees over the break. Lots of trees. While that is going on I will starting working on a locomotive project. I’m going to detail out an SW1500 and paint it for a lease company.
Merry Christmas! Today I HOPE to put together a little Christmas special car and roll it around. Other than that, trying to get a quartering issue worked out of that Hiawatha, and of course, family Christmas time. I hope all have a very Merry Christmas!
