We’re back. I hope you had a good weekend, let’s get into what we got done.

Saturday: I went to the Peterboro train show and joined my old club to run some trains. The club has a set of modules it takes to shows that are separate from the ones they have at the club house. While walking around the small show, I was able to score a neat laser cut N scale B&M buggy (caboose) kit based on the Laconia built model. A good find!

Sunday: Was spent doing a bit of domestic duty and relaxation. I did manage to take Jess out to the west end of my parents property and cut both new and old trails in anticipation for snowmobiling this winter. All in all a nice weekend.

So how about you? What did you accomplish. Let us know. We’ All come back on Friday the 16th to do it all over again. Until then, have a great week, stay safe and as always...

    High Greens!

Friday I built one more dumpster to make my total of three. I also built two out houses for my campground.

Saturday was a down day. Although I did receive the two cantilever crossing signals I ordered and ordered three sets of regular crossing signals from Walthers while they are on sale.

Sunday my son and I hit the train Expo in Salt Lake City. The first train show of the year. It’s been awhile since I’ve attended a show. I need to learn to leave the credit card at home. Too many temptations. I found a logging truck for $10 and then visited the Azatrax table. Got some questions answered and found out the big crossing I have will be cheaper to set up than I thought. So. $200 later I have enough circuits to run four crossings. Next show is Jan and then March after that. The one I’m looking forward to is the NMRA show in July. It will be held in Salt Lake next year. Also found a speedometer I want to purchase as well.

I made some pretty good progress on my N Scale DS-4-4-1000 project. She has most of her stripes and lettering.

I got about 85% of the decaling done -- front pilot and some small lettering to go.
Man - the decal sheet of stripes was so darn brittle -- what a pain!!

Hope Y'all had a great weekend,

    Hello all,

This weekend where I live it was best to stay indoors because of all the smoke in the air from those tragic wild fires. So that is what I did and got some work done on the layout and also quite a bit of running trains too. Got the BLMA bridge installed, track connected and painted and Sunday night even started the ballast. Here is one of my U25B's testing some of the larger cars for clearance on the bridge.

Looking ahead to where this section will be connected to the layout I realized that the plastic panel I use for a sky board would need to be extended. I already had the panel so I mounted it on the wall from where the existing panel ended (Seam) around the corner to the window.

More about this bridge project is on my blog: http://palisadecanyonrr.blogspot.com/2018/11/installing-blma-bridge.html
