    Hello everyone in train land!

    I apologize for the lack of a Weekend Modeling Plans thread on Friday, but I promise I have an excellent excuse. On Thursday afternoon I loaded up the Focus with the the Galesburg City Job and as much of my other items and hit the road for Illinois. This of course took me the remainder of the day, night and morning of Friday. After the 18 hour drive, I went to bed.

    Saturday: With the City Job back in Illinois, I was assigned the task of helping Angela with her company’s annual event, RC Fest. Believe it or not however, there was plenty of train action to keep me interested all weekend.

    Sunday: Same thing today as the previous day. Had a lot of fun and of course, it was nice to be back with my Angela and puppies.

    I still have a long ways to go before life returns to “normal”, including more driving long distances, more packing and more tasks before Galesburg. I was afraid I was going to miss Galesburg this year but fate had a funny way of fixing that. Depending on how this week goes, I may be late or have someone else do the Weekend Modeling Plans and Accomplishments threads. Either way, be ready Friday the 14th, we’ll assemble again to discuss the plans you have for the coming weekend. Until then, have a great week, stay safe and as always...

    High Greens!

    I had to type up some more electrical schematics that I seemed to have missed. After that I got bored. For a year I spent Friday’s building trees. So what did I do? I typed up a clinic on building trees.

    That was my weekend.

    Still searching for my missing part. Meanwhile, did some (non-model RR) work on my train order collection.

    I had a good weekend --

    Saturday: We had a party for our Granddaughter -- She had a great time. (A couple of minor melt downs) --

    Sunday: I continued work on my caboose project -- I think they are ready for paint.

    Hope Y'all had a great weekend,
    Wolf

    Worked on a "work" project this weekend which didn't allow the full time for modeling/layout things, however, I did manage to:
    1. Detail paint 4 brick walls and the accompanying wood walls. This is a FOS Yard Office kit I am building and repuposing as an fuel depot office industry on my layout.
    2. Spent considerable time cleaning up my work shop. It is a mess.

    Two big layouts have been merged - we were so excited and stunned that we nearly forgot to take pictures.
    Here is one of very few which finally were taken;

    Made a wee bit of progress wiring my (DC railroad) block control panel. Hoping that some needed parts will arrive in the mailbox today.
