Welcome back to the Station. Hope it was a good weekend for you.

As anticipated, Saturday was spent snowmobiling around the area, did about 91 miles. I did come upon a railroad related mystery of sorts however. Seems there is a very small, granite lined turntable pit on the former B&M Northern Line in Franklin NH. This spot is now used as a rest area for snowmobile, bike, cross country skiing, hikers etc that use the trail. It’s a neat area and one I will need to research. Sunday was more snowmobiling but I did get a package from Illinois. Angela sent me some track to fix the modules, all my New England freight cars and cabooses and my old Roco track cleaning car. I didn’t get a chance to do much but put everything away but now I have what I need to work on the modules.

So how about you? What did you get done? Let us know. We’ll assemble again on Friday the 22nd to do it all over again. Until then, have a great week, stay safe and as always...

    High Greens!

Did a bit more on my control panel, drilling holes in the rear laminate panel so that my new Kato power pack can be wired and is centered in the space. I didn't want to simply drill big 'ol holes in back, so carefully measured for location and optimum size.

I've finally gotten all but one feeder for my staging yard wired to the DCC bus, the lone feeder set needs to be soldered to the tracks again (it broke free as I was re-routing the wires towards the bus). In all the staging deck has nine detection blocks (arrival, departure, six storage, helix departure) with more planned for the helix tracks as I get it assembled.

I also pushed out the DCC++ESP32 CS v1.2.0 release (yesterday) and planning for the next version is already underway (a rather long TODO list already). Work is also underway on a custom PCB for an LCC CS and an LCC booster utilizing an ESP32.

Sorry no pics of this as they are not really interesting but I'll post them in my layout thread soon :)

I got absolutely nothing done this weekend. Now to plan the attack for this week. Finish up all the odds and ends I have left I’m finished. I also need two decoders. One for my Rivarossi Heisler and the other for my Bachmann Shay. I have also identified a new purchase I want to make. A Bachmann climax.

I was finally able to do some work. It’s all in the details. I finished all my trees. Also got a couple other small things done.[IMG]
The bears are back and tormenting Boy Scouts now.

How many cars are on this train?

All that’s left for the logging area is a few more figures and add the sounds then it’s complete. Time to return to the other side of the mountain and finish a couple details there.
