Good morning, good evening, where ever you may be. The weekend is about to start and it is time to see what we have planned. Saturday: Friday night, I have my monthly NMRA meet in Southern NH. Saturday I’ll change gears quickly as a bunch of us guys from work are taking an all day snowmobile trip to central NH for what may be the last run of the year. Spring is coming. Sunday: however I will work on train things. I’ve decided to give up on the Galesburg City Job. It was a great run, but my priorities have changed and it’s time to move forward. Rather then scrap the three modules, I’m only getting rid of the one that has given me the most problems and concentrating on two modules. This will give me 8-feet of switching. I’ll update the modules with new industries and fix a few things I did not like and it will probably be my “take to show” layout. It will be of course be B&M. Which begs the question, will the HO layout be Burlington? Hmmmmm. So how about you? What do you have planned for the weekend? Let us know. We’ll assemble again on Monday the 11th to see how we all did. Until then, have a great weekend, stay safe and as always... High Greens!
Well, our visitor is going home - tomorrow. (At this point, I don't know when) - so for now my Saturday modelling plans are on hold. Sunday: Going to my friends house for an Ops session on the NYO&W -- After that -- don't know. Y'all have a great weekend!! Wolf
Hope to continue puttering around with various parts from older Atlas N Scale SD-35s, trying to make two good units. I should instead be working on my control panel, but I need a break from it.
Ugh, late train making me miss the show. I guess the stuff I need will have to wait until the NMRA show in July. I really need some coil cars, modern reefers, and other modern cars.
Girl Scouts Cookie season is over, spent yesterday cleaning down stairs and took the family to a free concert featuring a local classic rock cover band. Today is a trip with just the wife to the Renaissance Festival...have to de-cookiefy the garage tonight and start planning my shelf to put Playa Desnuda back up....I am thinking 60 inches above the floor, maybe higher. I am 6'5"...
