OH NO!!! Dorothy got nailed by a double-stack at 79mph...wonder what happened to TOTO??? Or did the Red Shoes belong to the Wicked Witch of the West....?
Actually, it's a very well made HO layout with handlaid code 100 rail. The "shoes" are just stray drops of red paint. BTW, don't forget to check out my "Bridge for Sale - Cheap!" thread...
Murder Mystery Train The case of the missing Track Shiner... :embarassed: :embarassed: :embarassed: :embarassed:
My guess is some lady (or otherwise, ya never know nowadays) was walking down the tracks on a scorching hot day, and the melted creosote stuck her shoes down. I saw a pic in a book once of a rattlesnake in Caliente, CO that had itself glued to the ties, same reason.
looks like there is some engineer who lost his shoes as well as might be living a double lifemg: actually, depending on the direction of the train, it may be the fireman :shade:
Well, at first I thought it might be one of Nolans flex track laying gaffes. (where's Nolan when I'm yanking his chain?)
Catching up on things after three weeks in Alaska. My tarts don't wear red shoes. And they prefer sailors to trainmen.
Great picture after a crappy day at work. Thanks for the laugh! HTML:
