For me it's been going in fits and starts for the last couple days. It'll be fine for a while, then the bits will be sent via Morse code for a few hours. Rinse and repeat.
During last evening's session, after about ten minutes or so, it slowed down and timed out on several occasions, including at logout. This morning, it seems OK. Odd.
We're train people. Speed up, slow down, speed up, slow down, speed up, slow down. All of us are here to model that very thing! Just pretend we're climbing a grade right now.
No further incidents except for one evening attempt to open the site took a long time. I came back a few minutes later and it was instantaneous. Smells like intermittent heavy traffic. We need to double-track it! Keep up the good work, guys.
yesterday 7-17 could not get in nscale at all. was sumtin going on with the site being down ????? from morning my time (central) all day long no go.........
full disclosure - I have been asked by the site owner to maintain THIS site and do basic server maintenance. The server has a 1TB drive, on of the sites on here uses about 1/4 of that, and the person who set this server up set up a daily server side backup that was incremental, and supposed to hold 30 days....well, I have deleted the server logs to get back up, that left it 98% full. I have currently deleted 18 days of backups and I am still going. I have also disabled server side backups going forward. I did not ask for permission to do this.

Well you can tell we are addicted to Trainboard When we can't connect, we PANIC Or I did I want my MTV... I mean TB
I don't think we are addicted, however, we do notice when things we expect to work - DON'T. Like if the car won't start we notice, we may not know the why's of the problem, but we do know there is a problem.
You're Back, my Panic Attack is Relieved....sorta. Please, don't stress an octogenarian that strongly again. I ran out of Scotch.
I confirm that. I had withdrawal symptoms! Very telling about how much we appreciate this place. Thanks to all who work hard to feed our addiction!
