One thing I really like about some of the other vB forums I go to is the inclusion of a smartphone optimized skin. I was wondering if that's something being considered here. I see two problems with it based on how Trainboard is currently set up 1: Trainboard currently has only one skin and it doesn't allow you to choose any others. 2: On the other vB based board that I use my smartphone with, they allow a second account that is configured for the iPhone skin. Trainboard has a strict policy on that. Anyway, I was just wondering if it was something that had been thought about. Commercial sites like CNN have a mobile device redirect which is also nice. Don't know if that's possible here (though given the vB community, I wouldn't be surprised at all if people had figured it out.
We're in the Support forum. We're discussing things we can do to support the discussing of trains. Like, with this, I could discuss trains while I was riding on a train. (very very meta) Or, upload pictures of trains or of the club layout straight from the camera phone that took the picture. it's the future of internet train discussion I tells ya.

A sort of related question: I got a Droid X last month and tried to login to trainboard. I entered the username and password, and then got prompted for a third entry. After every login attempt I got directed to Amazon.com. I never got a successful trainboard login. Any suggestions for logging in trainboard with a droid x?
Humm, I got right in. Are you using 2.1 or the older version? What phone model are you using? Some are not up to speed but this one i have is a LG Ally and has 2.1 and no issues on any site so far.
You (forum owners) might want to consider Tapatalk. It's free for the forum owners and users can get apps for iPhone, Blackberry, Android and Nokia. Some are paid apps (iPhone is $2.99) and some are free. Tapatalk is a decent alternative for those who have smart phones.
