Installing a Decoder in a non-Decoder Ready Engine - Other

This is a thread describing a new decoder setup that allows you to convert the engine to DCC by replacing the light boards in older split frame engines with the decoder. This allows you to convert the engine to DCC without milling the frame. Thanks to Gats for posting the information and starting the thread. Many other TB members contribute to this thread and there are links to other websites describing the installation. Supposedly this installation can be followed for most Atlas Classic non-decoder ready engines.
