Hey N-scalers I am Back.. Its been a hectic few months. I launched my own PC Repair Business and with that cash is SLOWLY comming in and being used to get my indoor Layout happening.. Last time I posted I had created a Table that ran around my TV.. well.. thats gone.. New Layout Table covered in 2 inch foam.. I have purchased Noch Grass matting but made the Noobs mistake of getting 2 different shades of Grass... So Apparently I have Summer and spring... The New Layout whilst is not exactly small... is about 245cm x 90cm wide. At the moment I still have just a simple extended oval but plans are still indevelopement.. It will be more fantasy then prototypical..
Thanks Frank... With the weather in Australia at the moment... more time will be spent on the layout due to the wet weather we are having.
Welcome back Magnat1978! Always good to have another N scaler around. Be sure to use the Layout Design and Discussion forum to solicit the knowledge of TrainBoard's many great track planners for help on the final design. Until then, you cant go wrong with an oval! If you break my layout down into simplest form, it's basically a squeezed oval itself!
Hi Magnat, Welcome to the TrainBoard, we're happy to have you aboard. You have two things going for you in my book...first, N-Scale, and second, "Fantasy". Nothing better than letting one's imagination wander around a layout. Looking forward to seeing your creations.
Good to be back... I have plans to keep the High speed loop running for the Electrics but will most likely Introduce an inner Kidney bean section for freight... I have already decided that DCC will be out.. I mean hell all my trains still run rapido's so I doubt I will be converting to DCC any time soon. I wont be converting my existing gear to anything soon... I think I will just start buying New loco's with new freight and go from there..
