    It's interesting how some of the features (nickel journal boxes, link couplers) were incorporated into the new S scale models even though loco boilers were changed to die cast and rolling stock bodies to plastic moldings.

    Oops, I guess your O scale loco is die cast, too.

    Die cast locomotive, and a monster motor to power it!!
    Still gotta try powering it up, and see if it actually works!
    Have not tested yet. Other stuff going on. Nothing too important
    either!

    Before you attempt to power it up, be certain the armature is free and turns easily. The brushes not stuck, etc. With it's age, any resistance, and it can easily, simply go "poof". :(
