Hey there everyone! Just recently I started getting re-interested in model railroading. My Dad used to have a layout from when I was about 5 that I used to play on, O scale I think. I don't have near the space for a large layout, but I still want to get into model railroading, so I think I'll be playing around in N scale. I'll probably be making my way into the N Scale Forum here soon and hope to see you guys there! -Robert
Welcome to TrainBoard! If space is not available, perhaps look at something such as a Hollow Core Door ("HCD"), or a modular system like T-Trak, NTrak, Free-MoN, Bendtrack, etc.
Hi Robert, Welcome to the TrainBoard. Don't know if there's a hobby shop near you, but that would be a great place to chat and ask if there's a club around. It would be great if the club has an N-Scale group, and even better if it had a modular N-Scale group where you could start getting knowledge and even build a small module that would fit into a larger layout consisting of other folk's modules.
Hey there, other model railroader! Great to have you with us, and all the best on getting reacquainted with the hobby. Even if you start with nothing more than acquiring some stock to work on, and maybe build a diorama or two at first to experiment with scenery, odds are you'll enjoy it!
