Hello All, Just opened the package the kind UPS driver dropped off that contained my brand new Kato Class 66 loco.bNow I’m no expert on foreign locomotives, but everything I see looks great! Despite being brand spanking new however the engine is having some issues running. Two half laps around the layout and it stalled. Took the shell off and found the PC board? Is loose and slides back and forth causing it to lose power. Is there a fix for this issue? This is my first Kato n scale and would hate to have to send it back. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Have you tried sliding it all the way forward and seeing if it will lock into position? I have not had this happen to me but I wonder if it become dislodged in shipment somehow? Ralph
Do you have a soldering iron ? A very small 'puddle' of solder on the pads that go into the frame slots will tighten it up.
