I've been researching the history of a local shortline, the Sheffield & Tionesta, that bought a secondhand 4-4-0 from C&NW around 1903-4 and ran it up until the 1930's. I have a huge enlargement of it in my office. No books have ever show where it came from. I think I found a match though with this locomotive:

So it's a Class A-something, I can read Schenectady.... number is 605. Can any C&NW fans provide me with more information? Any miracles in the roster like identifying one that was sold secondhand? I'm not finding much online, but I understand there's a good C&NW book out there.

Edit: Link works for me, don't understand...?

Your link gives me a "Page not found" error.

They did have A class 4-4-0, built by Schenectady. The only reference I can find lists them in the 190-500 number range. No other details.
