Hi all, New to trainboard and was hoping to solicit some help in identifying the manufacturer and diesel that goes with the attached metal HO chassis. I believe it to be an EMD F3 possibly an F7 chassis and originally thought it might be an early Athearn chassis but it has two nipples on either side to attach the shell and the Athearn's only had one. Any help would be appreciated.
Doug, Many, many thanks for your help. Not to doubt you, but in reviewing a few other Penn Line F7 photos the chassis is stamped "penn line" and has a screw mount right in the middle of the fuel tank. Are you sure on this one? Thanks again for your time. Dave
Doug, Disregard all after hello! LOL. I found some other photos that confirm your answer. Sorry for appearing to doubt you, apparently they had more than one design. Thanks again for the assist. Dave
