Hello All, Thanks for welcoming me to TrainBoard. Here is my story (The short version)! At Christmas, we always set up my Old Lionel Train around the Christmas Tree. Last year for some reason I was missing a few tracks so we could not complete the oval. My wife told me to set up the N-Scale set I had from when I was a kid around our Leg Lamp from the movie Christmas Story, so I did. While setting it up, the Harry Potter movies were playing and I decided that it needed a little more, so, that's when I decided to try my hand at scratch building a model of the Hogsmeade Station. Well, that set me off on a course of modeling more than just Hogsmeade station. I created a spot in my garage to set up my model of Hogwarts. It still has a way to go but it is getting there. As a member here I hope to get some advice when needed and I will be happy to share what I have learned.
