I want to recognize all of the professional Railroaders for their sacrifice of working today, Thanksgiving. I am one of them. We will not be with our families and loved ones. Our employers seem to think that it is more important to be sitting in a hotel rather than at home. Yes, I'm pissed but at the same time grateful to have a job.
On this day of Thanksgiving, I thank you for sacrificing your comfort to keep our country rolling along.
My thanks to you and T the grocery store employees, hospital staff, security, police, firefighters and anyone I've missed who had T work Thanksgiving and nobody is outraged about it.
