Hallmark UP Veranda

I was just about to ask, how is everybodies power conversions going?
I would love to have one, but my old eyes and fat fingers, will prevent me from digging into one.
I did manage to close the spacing between turbine and tender coupling for a more realistic appearance for static display.
please show us your progress.

You may try an etailer like hooked on hallmark.com. I've never bought from them, but can be used as a resource for nearly any Hallmark ornament. My link goes to the "series" page. Click on Lionel to find the turbines, AFT cars & other items.

I've seen other stores that just sell christmas items all year round.

The site should tell you what condition they are in, boxed, etc.

 

Eddie: I have a set. They are in the show box so I'll bring them to SFO and Pleasanton. The Vandie tender is really crisp molding.

It's a very well made book. Usefull informations, hunderts of fotos and drawings. It's in very good condition. It comes with a clear plastic cover.

 

Great idea! What type of trucks are they? What possible locomotives would use them?
