After a 20+ year absence from the hobby I have decided to make my way back in. I model in N-scale only in modern time. So far it has been a challenge having to learn all of the new technology and am trying to get the hang of DCC, DCC capable locos, etc. Took me two months just to decide on control setup. Now that that's finished I can now concentrate on finding engines. I was lucky to have found a specific engine that I was looking for right here!!! That was one of the things that prompted me to join. I look forward to meeting new members, and who knows maybe someone local.
I don't plan on modelling any particular line. All I have is a Woodland scenics Scenic ridge layout so I am using that for the time being.
Is it already built? I have always liked looking at the Woodland Scenics Scenic Ridge, on YouTube and hope if you haven't started on it, we can see it in progress? I have always wanted the Town and Factory kit they sell for that layout, and have it on my wishlist! Ohh yeah, and welcome, I am also N Scale!
