Hello all. Have always had an interest in model railroading and trains. First set was HO as a kid; got into O gauge for a while; and have finally settled on N due to space and funding constraints. Recent empty nester and am enjoying getting back into it!

Greetings Mr. Malone, welcome. Happy to have you on board. Understand transitions between scales. Though mine were O, HO, finally N as space required.

Thanks Hytec. Your transition makes more sense. I always liked the "toyness" of O but grew out of that. Still have a bunch of it.

Welcome T. Malone! I too am still wet behind the ear on this forum. Though as a kid I had some(Tyco) HO. Whenever I joined(1991) the Navy I to switched to N scaled due to locker size for my locomotives and rolling stock in two tackle boxes. Now since I am currently in France I have Z scale. Still waiting to get me a place to accommodate a decent size layout for my growing N scale collection.

Thanks Mo-Pac! It's nice to know there are other people "in the same boat". And thanks for keeping us safe.
