Is it 1:1 scale, or should we start guessing whether it is Z, N, TT, HO, O, S, G, etc.?

I had found it but was holding back so you could get it Scott. But then I forgot where it was. [IMG] When I find my car keys, I may drive around and see if I can stumble on it again.

There's got to be a riddle to this, right? It's Scott's hometown, or a spot on his layout, or a place he likes to railfan...or else a reference to a previous Google Earth contest that he won...or something like that.

    Still looking Scott?

How can you tell the shadows are wrong without a compass rose? The shadows show the sun angle, angles which can be produced at different times of day at different times of year.

If you look at the bark on the tree trunks you can determine that the photo is oriented with the tracks running on an east/west axis with north to the top of the photo. The early Fall season can be determined by the turning of color of the leaves on the tree to the right. It is about noon so the shadows indicating the Latitude to be somewhere between 60º and 70º North. The length of the fuzz on the woolly worm caterpillars indicate that the coming winter will be mild.

Don't forget the iron oxide residue in the soil at the lower left, which I analyzed and found to match Jimmy Hoffa's DNA, and therefore this is next to a

    SOYBEAN FIELD IN WISCONSIN!
