Hmmm.. Reddish brown soil... Brown-red roofs+ orchards. Southern California Maybe? Also a small station stop in a rural area.........More Hmmmm......
those roofs have relativly low angles... thus no snow... another incident for a southern (or northern if you are in the southern hemisphere...) area...
Long, yet relatively narrow lots with most, if not all available space being used productively, not ornamentally as in US rural communities. No apparent lines on the roadways, and all roads appear to be relatively narrow, almost like country lanes. Limited, if any, parking at the facilities (stores?) to the right of the wider roadway, or next to the barns and/or warehouses to the left. No visible parking area at the station. All of this leads me to think southern rural Spain or Portugal where walking is more usual due to the cost of fuel, and heavy goods are carried on wagons pulled by tractors, horses, or donkeys. Also, I believe I remember seeing photos of red roofs in travel magazines and National Geographic.......?
"MX"? You saw an MX IRBM circulating in someone's backyard? Good Grief, has NATO gone mad? :tb-shocked: Love this Forum......:tb-biggrin::tb-biggrin::tb-biggrin:
Does the - with the second sequence of numbers mean that those are East of GMT? If so, Congratulations!
Peloponnisos province, Greece. That was a good one! No town name within at least 25mi. I was going for lot patterns and color at this point! WoW!:we-eek:
Congrats: Scott!! Yeah, I was going to ask why your coordinates put one out in the Atlantic Ocean also?? Me? I was looking at Olive groves on the island of Sicily. Dan
Well, I just dragged and dropped them into the GE search the first time. Then I realized that I had to 'tell' GE it was East of the GMT! Congrats again!
