Hmm. The stop signs are on the wrong side of the street. Must be some place like Oz.

The shadows are to the south of the buildings, too. Hmmm... truly out of this world, eh, Russell?

I didn't realize this one was still going on.

I have been getting to know Argentina and Uruguay over the last little bit here. I have another continent I am thinking of visiting if I don't have any luck here.

I am having a heck of a time cropping the image to a size that trainboard will allow, so I will give the coordinates for now:

    22 deg 33' 23.81" S
    17 deg 04' 52.22" E

We'll see if I can get an image here soon.

Good Find! I looked around South Africa a bit and didn't see it so I went and played with model trains. If you want to get a link to the location fast, in Google Earth, click File, and then click "View in Google Maps" and it should open your web browser, and take you there. Then just copy and paste the URL.

I found some yards in the same orientation in Cape Town, SA. Thought it was it until I zoomed in. At least I was looking in the right neck of the woods. ;) Congrats, Steam Donkey.

I looked around Argentina, Uruguay, and Chile a little, and then thought that they all looked either too green, or, in Chile's case, too sparse. I then tried Zimbabwe and noticed that Namibia on the other coast seemed to have a major North-South line and so I followed that a little, and then thought I would jump to Windhoek, the capital, and those greenish roofed buildings just jumped right out.

    This has been fun!
