Well, well, well... an overnight of silence.

    Have we stumped the sleuths?

Phoenix, AZ. You can see the covered baseball stadium right next to the yards.

    Close?

North/South orientation with some light industry just north of the yard and a refinery to the south of the yard. Mainly, a 90 degree rural grid. Shadows are northerly and there's a tear in the fabric for the space time continuum at the northeast side of the yard.....What else????

Looks like the type of place Napoleon Dynamite would live.

I found it interesting that no one seems to park on the on the streets. Isn't that how its done in cold North Eastern/ Mid West parts of the world where the streets need to be plowed all the time during the winter? Of a high wind area where people don't want their cars sand blasted or hailed on (Tornado Alley). And a Oil Refinery/chemical plant.

I looked around the Dakotas, some of the Midwest, Western Texas and New Mexico. The only thing that looked close was a town in New Mexico. But it wasn't the right town.

    Good hunting

I started thinking of the Suncor refinery in Commerce City, Co.
    But, nothing matches.

I followed the old Rock Island line north through Oklahoma and gave up and went elsewhere before moving over and trying the Santa Fe line. Rats.

I checked UT and all over CO. I thought it may have been on the Montrose Branch, most all the coal lines in CO/UT are on an E-W line, not N-S. Great job!
